Profile

Russell is responsible for Rob Law Max Recruitment's Trade Contract Services for our many Nationwide Blue Collar Clients.

Russell has been working in the recruitment industry for eight years which included managing an experienced consultant team for the premier on-hire labour business in the Wellington region. During that period he built many strong relationships with clients and has developed a reputation for identifying and providing the solution by delivering quality people.

Prior to joining the recruitment industry, Russell spent 27 years working in telecommunications with Telecom, establishing himself as a key person in the transition of technology from analgue to the digital era. He held notable positions in Telecom around New Zealand. He is very much a people's person with a rare skill of motivating people to peform at their best, retain integrity, work ethic and attitude, particularly our young people.

Outside Work

Russell has a passion for all sports including horse racing, with rugby heading the list. His participation has lasted more than half a century of playing, coaching, serving as Club Captain, on management committees and has a proud distinction of being a Hutt Old Boys Marist Rugby Club Life Member. He is a "Southern Man" with a great love for the beauty and grander of the lakes and mountains of Fiordland National Park. One who enjoys the company of family, friends, work and business colleagues.
