Structural Drafter/ 3D Modeller

NZCE (Architecture) to stage 4 / NZCE (Electronics & Computer Technology) 1989

A well rounded Structural drafter with 15 years plus experience. Began as a Cadet in the Electricity industry before moving to a Consulting Engineering company, drafting SCADA systems. Took four years off and travelled, undertaking contract drafting in the UK. Returned to New Zealand in the mid ‘90’s and spent 10 years doing 2D and 3D design drafting of radio & TV transmission towers.
Moved to Australia in 2005 and took a role doing 2 & 3D drafting of fixtures and fittings for a ship building projects. On completion of this project, took a contract role as a Design Drafter for an Agricultural Machinery manufacturer before heading to the UK in 2008. Here spent two years working for a designer of marine vessels used in the construction of off shore wind farms.
Has now returned to NZ and is looking for 3D modelling or structural drafting opportunities in Wellington.
