Career flexibility without prejudice

If you are not currently working in a permanent job, then contracting or freelance is an option to consider. Particularly during periods of economic recession, there may be more opportunities for contract & freelance employment than permanent. As markets improve and client's situations change for the better, many contract roles can go permanent.

Contracting (freelance or temping) doesnt suit everyone, but it does provide career flexibility without long term commitment.

If you are between jobs, have study commitments, or favour part-time or intermittent work, then contracting may be the short term answer for you.
