Based in the sunny Hawkes Bay, our client is a well respected manufacturer specialising in the design, manufacture and automation of materials handling equipment and full turnkey projects for the food, dairy, meat, building, paint, paper board and beverage industries.

Due to ongoing growth they are now looking for a top notch Marketing & Sales Manager to join the team and help grow the company.

This job will see you:

• Managing Sales teams in Australia and New Zealand
• Developing specific marketing & sales plans
• Establishing and maintaining a CRM database
• Preparing promotional and advertising material
• Preparing and monitoring sales budgets and activity reports

And - as they say - other duties as required.

To be successful in this position, you will:

• Hold a tertiary qualification in Marketing or similar
• Have an understanding of mechanical engineering and/ or materials handling systems
• Be a self driven, results oriented person
• Have a minimum of 6 years Marketing & Sales Management experience
• Have excellent communications skills and speak fluent English
• Be a team player and leader
• Have experience in preparing promotional and advertising material

There’s more of course, but you get the idea.

You will need tact and diplomacy and yet still be determined and tenacious. You will be required to travel and to put in longer hours on occasions, but you knew that.
