My client is a nationwide infrastructure engineering entity with a network spread from the bottom of the South Island to the Far North.

I am now urgently seeking the services of intermediate to senior civil engineers to work on their extensive asset network where job variety is a given and the chance for both site and office based project engineering opportunities.

As the infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for all the engineering aspects of design and maintenance of the civil infrastructure assets.

Overseeing of major renewal and maintenance projects, contract management, site surveys and investigating of engineering design will a be key duties of this role and will require a engineer with a excellent technical knowledge as well as attention to detail.

Other requirements will include:
* Tertiary qualification in engineering such as B.E, NZCE etc
* Previous experience with the transportation industry is favorable
* Previous experience in bridge and structures engineering design as well as asset renewals and maintenance works
* Experience working in either a local authority, consultancy or contractor environment will all be favorable
* Risk management strategy experience
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
