We’re looking for a person who knows more than just the terms associated with Reliability Engineering. We’re looking for an engineer who knows how to design maintenance strategies and systems, working towards that ultimate goal of 100% OEE. A person who enjoys solving problems and can help us build a division from scratch.

Our client is a small but growing company looking at starting up a Reliability section.
To do so we need top find a Senior Reliability Engineer to take a lead and help get things going.

In this position, you will:
• Take ownership of equipment reliability
• Be involved in developing and implementing RCM systems and strategies
• Train other staff in the use of these systems, procedures and techniques
• Have a desire to Build Your Own Job

To be successful in this role, you will:
• Hold a tertiary in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Be experienced in Reliability Engineering and Maintenance.
• Be experienced in developing maintenance strategies and plans
• Be experienced in the use of statistical software and RCM/ OEE reporting
• Have an working knowledge of CMMS and maintenance engineering
• Enjoy being part of and leading a team
• Have excellent communications and report writing skills
• Have an understanding of the H&S issues involved in a hazardous work environment
• Be happy ‘selling’ your services to clients

It’s a job where you will work closely with clients to identify their needs and come up with strategies that will improve the efficiency lower maintenance costs for their plant.

It will require tact & diplomacy and, through your passion and commitment, the ability to show clients what you can provide and develop long-term relationships with them.
