A market leader in energy solutions has just opened up a Development Project Manager role out of their Wellington office.

My client has experienced a large amount of growth within the energy sector and its services are in high demand.

It's expansive portfolio is continuing to growth across multiple sectors. They are looking for an experienced Development Project Manager to come on board and drive forward several key initiatives.

This role supports the growth of their Industrial Energy Solutions  business by providing engineering and value based disciplines designed to develop new project opportunities as well as support growth within the existing customer base

Key accountabilities include:

• Supporting the Commercial Manager by developing prioritised customer opportunities
• Taking a lead role in preparing qualifying opportunities for evaluation through the project development phase
• Leading the project delivery phase collaboratively with the IES Team, consultants and support staff
• Ensuring the companies customer needs and expectations are met or exceeded.
• Representing the company in selected energy sector forums and to Government agencies

The ideal applicant will have:

• A strong technical engineering knowledge where you have provided smart solutions to maximise existing and future assets.
• Excellent commercial awareness with a background in evaluating business cases against an organisation's pre-existing strategy.
• Progress and performance reporting capabilities along with the ability to delivering projects on time and to budget.
• Hold a relevant Engineering qualification
