How to Enter
To become a Planner/Scheduler within the Oil & Gas industry, most New Zealand employers expect candidates to hold a Bachelor or Master of Planning, or a Bachelor or Master of Resource and Environmental Planning.
The typical job responsibilities of a Planner/Schedule can include any of the following:
Planning Oil & Gas resources such as pipes, oil platforms or other structures and networks
Researching and reporting the effects of proposed developments, particularly on the environment
Presenting reports to Government, local councils, companies and clients
Planners/Schedulers can progress their careers by moving into more specialist or senior-level Planning and Scheduling roles within the Oil & Gas industry
