A leading design and project management consultancy is in need of a BIM Manager to join them on a permanent basis. The company is going from strength to strength and has been operating for nearly 40 years. They are specialists in their sector and have loyal customers, a strong culture, a driven team and interesting projects. The salary is dependent on experience but will be in the region of $110-130k, possibly more for the right person.

MAIN DUTIES

  • Manage software products (new version releases, customisation, implementation and staying informed on best practices for use of Revit Architecture andBIM)

  • Be responsible for BIM standards development, implementation, and enforcement

  • Assist in developing and enforcing BIM documentation and workflow process standards

  • Assess, plan, solve and confirm BIM workflow standards, strategies, templates and establishment

  • Carry out internal training: provide Revit Architecture Fundamental and training to staff provide technical orientation regarding BIMtools

  • Assist on project work - modelling and detailing

  • Help resolve BIM design issues

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ year's production experience in design, drafting or engineering

  • Must have an in-depth working knowledge of current BIM versions with emphasis on project sheet set-up

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to use time productively, maximise efficiency, and meet challenging work goals

  • Ability to take on additional responsibilities as needed as well as determine and manage priorities with minimal guidance

  • Must possess and maintain exceptional work ethic as well as uphold company values and demand the highest standard of conduct from self and others

  • Must have basic PC experience in Windows environments, working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, Web-enabled applications, and database software

  • Must be a self-starter and possess the drive to pursue continued education onBIM

  • Possess the ability to work well as part of a team and independently
