About the role: Situated in central Auckland, this key hire will have you making a large influence on strategy execution and business progress working alongside the Business Development Manager.
This expeditious role will keep you thinking constantly, liaising with key clients ensuring that all essential bid work information is assembled and presented to schedule. In your role, you will be exposed to a multitude of prestigious projects across many industries and business units. ·Business development (Assist with the development and implementation of strategies, research new opportunities and assist with various marketing initiatives)
·Bid Co-ordination (Monitor contract tender sites and relevant industry sources for new opportunities, maintain and monitor active tender lists, support multiple pursuits, bids and client material targeted at winning work, assistance with managing submission timelines and review requirements and assist with commercial reviews and responses within bids)
·Database maintenance (maintain tender register, support the maintenance of staff and partner CV and other data sets, and maintain all prospective customer data in the company database)
·Account Management (support the BDM with the implementation of the Account Management strategy and support the Key Account Managers with Necessary data
·Market analysis (support the team to stay abreast of industry matters and market trends, provide ongoing focus to new projects and support the BDM with targeted market analysis on key geographies, industries, sectors and competitor information.
About you: Previous administration experience is paramount, along with a positive energy, keen eye for detail and the ability to anticipate requirements and take ownership. Successful candidates will also be Auckland based professionals who have an understanding of MS Word, Office 365 and bid writing skills. Knowledge of SharePoint, Teams and CRM system is essential, and a knowledge of engineering consultancy is preferred however, not required for a successful candidate.
