As Contracts Manager you will be part of the Senior Leadership Team and you will be responsible for ensuring the continued successful management of Argest's contract with the a key Government Ministry, providing services to ensure building compliance needs of all sites and buildings under their control nationally meet the Ministry’s obligations under theBuilding Act 2004 and agreed programs of works.

Background required:

  • Proven experience working as a Contracts Manager in a client facing position for large and complex service agreements

  • Comprehensive working knowledge of the New Zealand building compliance sector

  • Experience in working with Local and / or Central Government agencies

  • Proven ability to manage a high performing team

  • Effective subcontractor engagement and management skills

  • Experience in working under a ISO9001 Quality Management System preferred

Key duties:

  • Develop collaborative relationships a national Government Ministry, Territorial Authorities and Site representatives across New Zealand

  • Identify and cultivate business opportunities under the scope of the existing agreement

  • Champion continuous improvement to ensure better results for the Ministry and Argest

  • Effectively manage relationships with Subcontractors

  • Providing support and management for the compliance service delivery team

  • Ensure that you and your team maintain a customer centric focus at all times

  • Manage the achievement of KPI’s financial performance and reporting for the contract
