Our client, who is a well known multinational retailer, is on the search for a Dispatch Manager to take the lead and manage a team of 5 within the dispatch department.

As the Dispatch Manager, your job duties include co-ordinating the daily workload by ensuring that the orders are made up and assembled by your team and ready for dispatch on time.

You will also be required to:

  • Recruit & train new employees

  • Oversee incoming and outgoing shipments

  • Liaise with appropriate courier and transport companies and dispatch according to their requirements

  • Maintain and manage sales orders

  • Staff management

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within warehousing / manufacturing

  • Staff management experience

  • Attention to detail and the ability to multitask (approx. 30 orders per day to go out)

  • Enthusiasm, great communications skills and the ability to pick things up quickly

  • Effective at prioritising workload and have good organisational skills
