​Reporting directly to the CEO, this newly created position is the result of bringing together a number of healthy homes services into a new division. The company is a well-established and highly successful NZ owned operation, they are in growth mode and have a fantastic culture and values.

The aim of this position is to create value for key stakeholders by leading an effective customer focused team, by delivering profitable and sustainable growth, and by identifying strategic growth opportunities across the business. The role focus is on sales performance, revenue growth and customer engagement.

The position will suit someone who is currently in a similar senior leadership role (eg General Manager, Operations Manager, CEO, CFO, COO or similar) looking for a new challenge where they can manage change and create success.

Applicants will bring with them high level of sales & negotiation experience; above average listening skills; a strong understanding of operations (and their impact on both customer service levels and company profitability); strong analytical skills enabling analysis and insight reporting; and excellent presentation capability (written and oral communication skills).

To be considered, applicants must have:

  • Effective and inspirational leadership experience: the ability to effectively engage well with teams, can influence, motivate, and enable high performance

  • Experience in managing change (and dealing with ambiguity)

  • Excellent sales, marketing & business development skills

  • Good financial literacy to use financial information to understand and drive growth whilst growing profitability

  • Experience with the successful integration of acquired businesses

  • High integrity and honesty with a commitment to robust debate leading to good decisions

  • Above average communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across a range of styles

  • Market agility: able to operate in dynamic and competitive markets, inspire innovation and maintain and build market share and profitability

  • Business acumen: knowledge in current and possible future policies, practices, trends and technology and information affecting the business

  • Customer Focus: exceeds the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers

  • Action orientated: enjoys working hard! Action orientated and full of energy for the things seen as challenging, not fearful of acting with a minimum of planning and seizes more opportunities than others

  • Collaboration with a consultative approach and taking teamwork to a higher level
