With a solid forward work load focussed across the regional Hawkes Bay area, north towards Gisborne and west including parts of the Bay of Plenty, a variety of work is on offer across Residential, Commercial and Industrial Developments with both private and public sector organisations.
Ideally you will be a team player with developed technical skills and just as importantly a positive attitude and personable approach who takes pride in delivering quality outcomes for your clients!
Key hire to become an integral part of an established, leading provincial practice with stable long term work load
Prepare design briefs for Geotechnical or multidisciplinary projects including preliminary programming and estimates
Plan and execute Geotechnical site investigations
Provide Geotechnical analysis and design of engineering works
Produce reports and provide practical, efficient advice and recommendations to clients
Identify opportunities to do things better, support Geotechnical and multidisciplinary colleagues, be collaborative, seek assistance when required
Tertiary qualified in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering
A number of years NZ based consultancy experience
Developed understanding of liquefaction and the associated impacts on soil and buildings
Familiar with a range of slope stability and liquefaction software
Able to produce succinct, high quality technical reports
Knowledge and experience working with local and regional soil conditions desirable
Personable, genuine character who values integrity and is comfortable working in a flat structured, collaborative environment
Not afraid to get your hands dirty, muck in!
Current Full Drivers Licence
