About the Company

We currently have a permanent role available across Upper Auckland Region that specialises in heavy vehicle servicing, repair and maintenance. This client of ours is a leading company in the Civil industry delivering stabilisation solutions for pavements in road construction, infrastructure, maintenance, gas and mining. Our client is now looking to expand their team and bring someone in not just an employee but as part of their family who shares the same passion and drive as the current members.

About the Role:

  • Responsible for planned/unplanned maintenance of heavy machinery's

  • Perform diagnostics and repairs as required

  • Maintain accurate and up to date documentation of serviced machinery's

  • Assisting mechanical fitters in accordance with the daily operational needs

  • Maintaining clean and safe workshop

Some of their current fleet includes:

  • Bomag BW225D

  • Komatsu BZ200

  • Komatsu GS360

  • Komatsu CS360

  • Wirtgen WR 2000

  • Wirtgen WR 2400

Skills and Experience:

  • Trades Qualification in Diesel or Mechanical engineering

  • Minimum of 3+ years experience working on heavy machinery plant

  • Experience in servicing and repair of American, European and Japanese heavy machinery plant

  • Experience in fabrication/welding would be advantageous

  • Strong Health and Safety knowledge
