Due to a secured contract with a major heavy industrial client an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Maintenance Planner. Working closely with another Maintenance Planner, Mechanical and Electrical Technicians and a range of trade staff you will take a lead role and be a key link between the Maintenance and Operations of a large scale industrial production facility. You will oversee the plant maintenance planning and scheduling, ensuring work notifications are prioritised and coordinated, and that maintenance operations are completed in line with the proposed work schedule.
Proficient with maintenance planning and scheduling of large industrial plant and machinery
Mechanical Trade base or Engineering background
Strong IT acumen and good with technology
Exceptional H&S understanding and work practices
A systems focus and strategic approach to delivering positive outcomes
Proven relationship building skills
Well developed, interpersonal and influencing abilities
Familiar with spare parts and inventory management including hazard ID, PTW’s, coordinating staff and contractors and running Toolbox meetings
Current unrestricted work rights for NZ, ideally based in the Taranaki region
Competitive salary of $80 - $90 K range + benefits
