RobLawMax are partnered with a reputable Australian mining business who have a critical requirement for a Mine Planning Superintendent to be involved in steering the maintenance planning as well as some warehousing and purchasing requirements in an exciting period of growth at one of their sites. This flagship open-cut coal site has a long mine life, supported by a stable executive and mine leadership unit focused on enhancing production outcomes.

You will bring strong background in maintenance planning across a variety of heavy mobile equipment such as trucks, hydraulic excavators and ancillary. The plant covers Liebherr, Hitachi (excavators) and CAT trucks, processed and managed in SAP.You will have working knowledge of the planning life cycle (from short-term to long-term), backed by leadership exposure overseeing specialist planners / schedulers.
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following:
Trade qualifications in a relevant field
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in mobile maintenance planning
At least 3 years leading a planning team in an open cut coal environment
Exceptional safety track record
Strong SAP experience
Exceptional stakeholder skills with an ability to have strong working relationships across maintenance, production and the client
