The Opportunity:
Develop your career as a Maintenance Fitter by joining a high performing team managing the storage and distribution of bulk liquids to a range of retail networks and industry.
The position includes carrying out servicing, maintenance and repair work on a range of plant and equipment pumps, valves, tanks and piping as well as identifying areas for improvement.
You will be become an integral part of the wider Maintenance group, working closely with a small team of experienced Maintenance Fitters, contributing to the ongoing success of critical assets, infrastructure and storage facilities.
Key responsibilities:
Complete Planned Mechanical Maintenance through inspection, servicing and repair of a range of heavy industrial plant and equipment
Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with the maintenance plan
Participate in Engineering and Maintenance audits and reviews
Diagnose faults and identify appropriate solutions
Complete accurate recording and documentation for all works undertaken
Ensure compliance with internal HSE Management System and safe execution of all work
Your Skills:
Trade qualified in Mechanical Fitting
Able to interpret P&ID diagrams
Experienced working as a Maintenance Fitter in a highly regulated, industrial environment
Demonstrate a strong focus and uncompromising approach to H&S
Able to work at an independent level with minimal supervision
Collaborative, continuous improvement mindset
This is a critical role in providing essential maintenance services to a range of key assets, infrastructure and storage facilities. Due to current restrictions ONLY applicants in Auckland or with an imminent pending move and current unrestricted work rights for New Zealand will be considered for this role.
