RobLawMax is partnered with a globally reputable mining advisory business supporting several major mining operators.Due to increased, log-term project load, there’s a newly created requirement and become part of the mining team delivering projects on Australia’s east coast and into Asia.There’s exceptional leadership support focused on strategic mine planning, evaluation and execution skills, while giving diverse exposure to different sites and operating models.
The Role
As a Mining Engineer within this business you’ll be focused on the delivery of underground mine planning, strategic planning and study work, as well as analysis for key underground hard rock mining operators.The role provides access to a variety of software packages, with an initial focus on Deswik planning and design for a major underground mine in Asia.
To be successful in this role you must possess:
Tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering
Ideally over 4 years’ experience at an operational underground mine site
Technical competency in Deswik, ideally with exposure to others (Datamine)
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to drive and lead multiple stakeholders
An aspiring mindset with a desire to either progress or learn new areas within the mining landscape
