RobLawMax has exclusively partnered with a large and well known Electricity Distribution company who owns and operates a network of poles, conductors, cables and transformers that carry electricity from the National Grid to homes and businesses within the region.
They are now looking for a Network Faultman to join a newly formed, self managing team that is responsible for the delivery of the core operational services to network customers.
About the role:
Working in a team of 4, you will be responsible for the day to day reactive activity & maintenance of the electricity's network operations by manning and maintaining the Fault and field services dispatch & reporting. You will also be responsible for site investigations supporting the Connection Application Process and associated control of capacity allocations.
Other key responsibilities:
Daytime Control Room co-ordination and operations
Field services includes compliance testing and Inspection for works and service connections
Network inspections and defect repairs
Technology & secondary system support
Previous experience in the electricity distribution or transmission industry including fault response
Electrical registration as Line Mechanic (Level 4) and preferably also as an Electrician
Familiarity with metering and secondary systems
Level 4 Field Operator and Level 4 Faultman competencies per CCF
Ability to work on the on call roster
Ideally be based in Dannevirke or very close proximity
