RobLawMax is assisting a well-regarded civil construction contractor in the search for a skilled Planner to play a key part in the execution of a portfolio of projects throughout Queensland. Working alongside an established construction team, you will be responsible for scheduling, planning, monitoring, and reporting on deliverables and milestones using Primavera P6.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Assist with the set-up and management of the project costs, budgets and forecasts

  • Tracking productivity

  • Prepare run rate graphs and dashboards and provide advice and support to project management teams

  • Capture, review and manage construction progress within the Earned Value Database and systems

  • Scrutinise data to identify emerging trends & issues, making recommendations to improve project performance

  • Scrutinise subcontractor programme and productivity reports

  • Work closely with Leadership team with respect to cost (forecasting) and contract management

To be considered for this Planner position you will ideally possess:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (preferred)

  • Substantial experience on multidisciplinary construction projects

  • Good contractual awareness and commercial acumen

  • Great scheduling skills with the ability to track & report on production rates

  • Ability to scrutinise sub contractor’s programme and productivity reports

  • Sound knowledge with P6 software

In return for your skills and service, you will be rewarded with a base salary of around $130-150k pa combined with the chance to gain diverse project experience across the renewable energy sector. You will work with, and be mentored, by some exceptionally talented and personable leaders.
