RobLawMax Recruitment has exclusively partnered with Wellington Water in the appointment of a Programme Lead for their Network Development & Delivery BU ,who will deliver a programme of 3 waters capital projects for the Wellington Region.
Wellington Water is a trusted advisor to the region's Councils and partner with the community, engineering consultants and contractors to deliver drinking water, wastewater and storm water services from source to sea.
About the role:
As the Programme Lead, you will work collaboratively with their Consultant and Contractor panels to support them to deliver the programme of works in time and within budget. You will also be responsible to work closely with the Project Managers to understand the delivery of risks across the the programme and managing these at a programme level.
Other key tasks:
Budget Management by monitoring expenditure and costs and preparing financial budgets and forecasts
Management of programme assurance & integrity
Provide consistent leadership, coaching and support to the Project managers
To be successful in this role, you will need:
You will hold a relevant tertiary qualification, Qualifications in project management and programme management desirable, although experience may negate qualifications
Experienced in infrastructure-related project management, with at least 5 years’ experience working on complex projects and / or programmes
Good financial analysis and forecasting skills
Good knowledge of the Resource Management Act and consenting process
Leadership skills with well-developed emotional intelligence who leads by example
Good interpersonal and communication skills, able to communicate at all levels, with internal and external customers and stakeholders, and with consultants and contractors
An interest in water and a passion for the betterment of the Wellington region
