A world leading civil engineering contractor with a large national/international presence now has the need for a highly experienced Planning Manager to help them manage the delivery of a $500m+ project.

To be eligible for this role you must possess the following:
A proven background working within a Project Planning or Project Controls on large scale infrastructure projects with specific large roading project experience essential,
A minimum of 5 years working in a scheduling/Programming engineering role with at least 10years having worked in a project/programme management role.
Experience leading a team of planners or other staff within an engineering environment.
An expert knowledge of Primavera Planning software.
A strong commercial and financial knowledge as you will be required to conduct various progress and financial reports regarding the schedule.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
The key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
Overall Projects Control of the project including; supporting efficient delivery and risk mitigation, supporting of the Project Director and assist in the financial and commercial aspects of the project when required.
Project scheduling and programming, milestone monitoring and assist in the management of suppliers and procurement.
Carryout construction phasing diagrams, project forecasting and scope management.
Report to and liaise with client, consultants, in-house stakeholders and the public.
Risk management through risk reviews, risk assessment exercises, risk identification and through the implementation of entities risk management function.
