Residential role in Gladstone (relocation assistance provided)

c$120k pa base (for Project Engineers) + super and vehicle
RobLawMax is representing a well-regarded, long-standing civil construction contractor who has enjoyed a number of recent contract awards in Central Queensland. These contracts, combined with exciting upcoming prospects in the mining, energy and water infrastructure sectors sees them requiring additional Project Engineers to join their team.
You will be responsible for all cost control, scheduling, contract administration, progress / production reporting, QA and client documentation for projects which will likely include bulk earthworks, drainage, and civil structures aspects for projects between $10-100m. The organisation is renowned for fast-tracking high performing engineers into Project Management roles, so those with ambition are encouraged to apply.
To be considered for this Project Engineer position you will possess:
Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering
Previous experience working within a hard dollar civil contracting environments
Recent experience working on bulk earthworks with some drainage and civil structures exposure beneficial
Good contractual awareness and commercial acumen (forecasts / cost to complete)
Good scheduling skills with the ability to track production rates and forecast potential future bottlenecks
Ability to exceed client documentation expectations
Unquestionable commitment to HSE compliance
The ideal candidate will be a resident of Gladstone or willing to relocate (assistance will be provided for the latter). In return for your skills you will be provided with a base salary of around $120k pa (base) + phone, laptop and vehicle.
