RobLawMax has exclusively partnered with a large and well known Electricity Distribution company who own and operate a network of poles, conductors, cables and transformers that carry electricity from the National Grid to homes and businesses within our region. They are on the search for a Project Manager to join their busy team with previous experience in project management or as a design / estimator.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience across the NZ Electricity and Distribution / Transmission network with good communication and relationship building skills. You will have a methodical approach to managing multiple projects with a level of high proficiency in producing and managing PM documentation. You will be working on projects for new connections, new subdivisions / property developments, service lines etc.
Other responsibilities include:
Being the first contact and customer liaison by responding to customer initiated enquiries for chargeable work
Preparation of designs and scopes
Work Scheduling & Project Management
Project Administration & team management
To be successful in this role you will need:
A minimum of five years in the electricity distribution or transmission industry
Obtained a relevant trade or engineering qualification in the sector
Exposure to a variety of different types of operational roles within the industry
Ability to manage a team of 3-4 field staff
