This role is ideally suited to a Senior Project Manager who has the ability to manage the delivery whilst coordinating the bigger picture elements. Applications are sought from candidates who can demonstrate highly effective organisational and communication skills and previous PM experience in the commercial construction sector in NZ.
Assist in the provision of technical direction for projects
Conduct project review meetings, dealing with contractors work progress, schedule reviews, and construction coordination
Lead the construction team through the duration of construction and handover.
Maintain official documentation files
Provide issue resolution in contract administration
Participate in project decisions regarding technical approaches, cost, scheduling, and performance
Assure all construction-related activities performed by the contractor are performed in accordance with design, budget and schedule, meets accounting requirements, and is completed to quality standards
Act as primary client contact for all project activities.
Ensure all construction is in compliance with design specifications
Candidates must have:
Proven ability in managing projects to deliver on time and to high quality levels
Main contractor experience gained in NZ
Experience in liaising with stakeholders and the client in a professional manner
Ability to manage communication and project documentation
Ability to read plans and specifications
Experience in programming work and ordering materials
A strong health and safety focus at all times
