We are currently working with a hugely successful and growing construction contractor who have been operating since the late nineties. They are currently hiring for a number of positions and their next priority is to hire an experienced, capable and competent Project Manager. The salary will be in the region of $130-150k plus vehicle allowance.

It is a dynamic organisation with a passionate and experienced leadership team; they have completed a number of projects across Auckland ranging in value from $2.5m to $35m in the commercial, retail, corporate and hospitality sectors for well known international companies and brands.

As an experienced Project Manager you will be engaged in the full project life cycle, facilitating and co-ordinating commercial interiors projects ensuring successful delivery. This will involve meeting with clients, stakeholders and external consultant management, working with architecture and design teams, project scheduling and programming, working closely with the site and QS team and reporting. The role will be based in the companies head office in central Auckland.
Applicants must have the following experience:
5-6 years+ Project Management experience (main contractor or fit-out) with long tenures
A tertiary qualification in Construction Management or similar
Experience / knowledge of contracts administration, contract management
Commercially savvy
IT Project Management experience
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, able to convey complex cost and project situations
Team player, rapport builder who is able to form highly effective working relationships
Ability to analyse and mitigate risks
Process driven with an awareness throughout of stakeholder relationships and client satisfaction
Positive attitude, well organised, tenacious, lateral thinker
