Our client is one of New Zealand’s best construction contractors, they work on all sizes and types of projects ranging in value from $3-300m. They have a fantastic team of talented and dedicated staff, low turnover, great culture and a lot of work on the books for the next 2-3 years.
They are in need of a Project Manager to join their team on a downtown Auckland CBD hotel project. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years’ experience of working on fit -out projects. The salary for the role will be $160-180k depending on experience and level.
The company has a long history of successfully delivering challenging and complex projects across the north island.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
5+ years demonstrable experience of working on interiors construction and/or refurb projects
Proven ability in managing projects to deliver on time and to high quality levels
Experience in liaising with stakeholders and the client in a professional manner
Ability to read plans and specifications
Excellent communication skills. You must be able to professionally and assertively convey communication to all involved
Proficient is MS projects and project programming
Have a trade qualification and/or come from a trades background
