About the role:
This is a very exciting NEW role where you will be a key member of the operations senior management team responsible for driving growth and profitability and managing all operational, financial and customer performance for the Canterbury region. Delivering the core three water maintenance contracts, meeting contract and financial expectations and delivering operational efficiencies is fundamental to the role. A key focus of the Regional Manager will be leading, mentoring, driving, and growing the construction business as well as improving profitability within the Water business in your region.
About you:
To be successful you will possess 10+ years’ experience as a senior operations leader encompassing:
Proven ability to lead, manage, motivate, improve performance and communicate with others
Strategic planning and project management
Demonstration of commercial acumen in a service contracting sector and/or civil construction environment
Proven record in business development and client management experience
Tender and proposal development and submission
Negotiation
Track record in delivering financial / business KPIs
Proven asset management
Experience with NZS 3910/3917 Contract Suite
Appropriate management or technical qualifications preferably at tertiary level, NZCE Civil or equivalent
