My client are a leading, local multidisciplinary Building Services consultancy with an enviable reputation gained over many decades in the Auckland market. Reporting into the Managing Director a significant opportunity has arisen to become an integral part of their experienced Electrical Building Services team. With a range of new build and retro fit projects on the books you will be exposed to a breadth of electrical work from lighting design, to power, data, security and CCTV.With a tight-knit, flat structured, multidisciplinary team, along with solid technical skills you must have the right attitude, be passionate about what you do, proactive and have plenty of initiative.
At the forefront of energy efficiency, they are members of the NZ Green Building Council and have completed a number of award winning projects of scale focussed in the commercial sector.
Tertiary qualified Electrical Engineer
Consulting background in commercial, retail, multi-level residential or industrial projects
Technically competent in Electrical Building Services including LV supply and distribution, lighting, data, communications and fire systems
CPEng or approaching desired
Experience with AGI 32, Dialux, or similar lighting software
10 years + consulting experience with at least a couple working to NZ codes and standards
Excellent oral and written communication and influencing skills
Experience working across the full project life cycle including construction monitoring and contractor supervision
Current valid work visa and based in or imminent arrival to Auckland
Electrical Building Services leadership on projects of scale. Varied work across commercial, retail, multilevel residential and industrial projects. Work from project conception through to completion including construction administration. Mentor and support Junior colleagues alongside established Senior colleagues.
