RobLawMax is partnered with a global mining giant to identify a talented Engineer / Senior Engineer to join their team. The role will be responsible for assessing the structural integrity of ROM, wash plant and train load out infrastructure for one of their critical production assets.
You will be based on site and will be responsible for assessing existing infrastructure, reporting on critical improvement works, undertaking front end loading activities, gaining investment approval, developing scope of work for contractors and issuing contracts.
To be considered for this position you will possess:
Bachelors Degree (Civil / Structures)
At least 5 years’ experience in Structural Engineering with at least 3 of these within a heavy industrial environment
Sound knowledge of Structural Integrity with experience in the execution of condition assessments and improvement works on ageing infrastructure
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
The role will initially commence on a weekday FIFO basis with the prospect of becoming 4:3 once workload allows. You will be rewarded with a competitive contract rate with flights, accommodation, food and vehicle provisions. The roster will likely change during December shut down period given critical access to the process plant.
