The team has been formed around the strength and experience of its people who have designed, consented and delivered land development and civil projects across New Zealand for many years. Due to growth and expansion they are offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Site Engineering Surveyor to join their team.

Working in an experienced, technically advanced environment , you will be involved in a range of Civil Engineering development and infrastructure projects which include scheme concept design for earthworks, water supply, roading, temporary works, erosion and sediment control design. You will also be involved in to planning approvals, financial forecasting, Contract procurement, implementation, site management/testing/commissioning, and compliance certifications.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Management of financial and technical aspects of projects

  • Exposure to resource management processes including; consenting (subdivision and land-use) which may involve production of reports, calculations, evidence, and consultation; environmental, legislative, and regulatory compliance.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Degree in Civil or Natural Resources Engineering

  • Recognised as (or working toward) a Chartered Professional Engineer

  • An understanding of civil design for water supply, stormwater, and wastewater reticulation and distribution systems

  • Experience with contract law and NZS3910

  • Experience working alongside 12d and modelling software packages advantageous but not essential

  • Experience with earthworks and erosion and sediment control advantageous

  • New Zealand Driver's License (Full)
