About the role:

As an integral part of the Masterplanning team, this person will be enabling the continual growth and success of our client by ensuring their current and long-term compliance with regulatory matters, especially regarding resource management and consent.

  • Manage and facilitate the Auckland Airport’s resource consent application processes

  • Liaise with Council, Local Boards and key stakeholders to discuss and present the company's applications

  • Advise on projects vital to the future growth and success of Auckland Airport

  • Work with multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensure RMA compliance

Successful applicants will have:

  • 8+ years’ New Zealand experience in environmental policy development, or a similar role

  • A tertiary qualification in resource management planning, or similar

  • Current knowledge of relevant New Zealand legislation

  • Excellent communication, influencing, and presentation skills

  • Proven success with strategic planning, especially large master planning/infrastructure projects

  • Ideally, you will have aviation industry experience & be a full NZPI member
