Urgently needed now is a Senior Project Manager, capable of managing a $500m stage two development covering all associated infrastructure for a major multilevel residential development programme.

This programme will consist of significant earthworks including drainage, utility installation, transport infrastructure and landscaping. My client have engaged through the original stage 1 development, a leading NZ team of design consultants and civil contractors who have now been extended to work on this stage 2 phase.

The successful candidate will have a track record of delivery, ideally for a civil engineering consultants and perhaps a main contractor in the NZ or Australian market and be capable of making the transition across to the developer side and all the interactions with consultants and stakeholders that will bring. They will also need a track record in the delivery of major land development projects with a particular emphasis on the quality of construction, programme, HSE and delivery.

Other key attributes will include:

  • Ideally tertiary qualified in construction / engineering / quantity surveying

  • Experience in leading large multi discipline design teams and contractors

  • Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal

  • Track record of major project delivery
