Salary is in the region of $140-160k depending on experience.
A solid background in QS for construction is essential to be considered, working on projects over $20m is what they are looking for. You will be joining a great team in a position they would like long term commitment to. Two high value significant projects have been secured, a further 5 years – 10 of work is also in the pipeline.
The ideal candidate will have the following experience:
8-10+ years experience of working as a QS, NZ experience is very highly desirable.
Experience in cost planning, bills of quantity preparation, measuring cost plans and contract administration.
Successfully managing costs through project life cycle
Able to confidently navigate your way around sites and provide technical knowledge to the engineering and building teams.
Providing accurate commercial advice to Estimators, Construction Directors and Project Managers
Working across multiple high value commercial projects
Excellent communication skills. You must be able to professionally and assertively convey communication to all involved.
A relevant tertiary education is beneficial
