We are now looking to find a Senior Quantity Surveyor to assist our client in the delivery of interior projects. Our client is a leading interior fit-out company with a strong history of successful work, they need someone with the expertise and the personality that will contribute to the successful delivery of projects in Wellington and selected locations in the South Island.
In this position you will contribute through all stages from estimating onwards working as part of an established quantity surveying business with a proven capability to deliver high class interiors projects.
As a senior level Quantity Surveyor it is expected that you will be able to demonstrate proficiency in estimating, procurement and the management of all quantity surveying activities required during the project delivery and handover phases.
The ideal candidate will have the following experience:
6+ years experience of working on interior projects as a Quantity Surveyor in New Zealand
Experience in cost planning, bills of quantity preparation, measuring cost plans and contract administration
Successfully managing costs through project life cycle
Ability to work across multiple projects
Excellent communication skills with the ability to professionally and assertively convey communication to all Stakeholders
Degree or diploma qualified in Quantity Surveying, this role is ideally suited to a QS who is comfortable working with a large degree of autonomy. Occasional travel may be required within New Zealand.
