My client are an established Auckland based multidisciplinary consultancy with a wealth of experience honed over many decades. Working with a diverse range of clients from individual home owners to large scale housing and commercial developments they focus on predominantly low to medium rise builds.
Due to succession planning they now have a unique opportunity for an experienced Structural Engineer to take on a leadership role within the practice. With a focus on high quality, cost effective designs and a large number of repeat clients you will be joining a stable practice with strong prospects for continued growth.
You will be an experienced Structural Engineer, comfortable leading others but keen to remain hands on and lead by example. You will be introduced as the client face for structural work as part of planned succession planning. Along with developed technical skills, you will need equally strong soft skills and be commercial astute and comfortable running project financial. Projects are predominately Residential, including terraced housing, with some commercial work and scope to expand subject to established networks.
BE Civil, Structural or similar
CPEng – Structural with ENZ
10 years + professional consultancy experience
Registered Author or approaching for Structural Producer Statements with Auckland Council
Experience in report writing, proposal writing and pricing residential and commercial projects
Developed working knowledge of NZ building codes and construction
Client facing with a customer focus, good communication skills and a collaborative leadership approach
NZ Citizen, Resident or with a valid NZ Work Visa
NZ Drivers licence
