If you have strong site management experience working on large scale interior projects, ready to work when the city is sleeping and want to contribute to an already successful company’s future growth: this is the position for you. The salary is in the range of $120-130k, depending on experience.
Based in Auckland, this role entails working on high value flagship projects during night shifts. The position is charged with overseeing the interiors operation of retail space - hence your leadership and forthright attitude will ensure projects are successfully delivered on time.
You will be joining a supportive team who have client satisfaction as the main goal, and are determined to get the job completed to the highest standard. Supervising sub-contractors and company trade staff on-site is the main focus of the job. Being able to prioritise, organise and manage is key.
On-site labour and trades control, materials allocation
Follow schedule of works and resource plan
Adhere to all HSE requirements, be a HSE advocate
Lead by example in the nightly site operation
Co-ordinate training and supervisory tasks
Report on progress to internal and external parties
Work with in-house staff for production and maintenance
Ensure site operations are commenced and closed with precision, every day
To be considered for this role you must have:
Retail experience is a huge bonus
Direct experience of leading site team(s)
Thorough experience working on interiors/fit-outs
Outstanding communication skills – you will be liaising confidently with people at all levels, including the clients on occasion
Man management and/or leadership skills gained in construction
Be level headed and have a hands-on approach when up against deadlines
Appreciation of what clients want and how to best deliver along those lines
