The Site / Project Administrator plays a vital role within the construction team for this main contractor. There are two projects underway in West Auckland and Central Auckland which require and Administrator for each site. This will be a busy and varied role and you will be tasked with ensuring administration functions are carried out to a consistently high level of service, provide quality administration and contract support services to team members such as Project Managers, Site Managers and Quantity Surveyors. Applicants must be highly accurate, have strong attention to detail and strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload.
Experience of working in a construction environment is essential. The position will pay between $65-75k depending on experience.
Tasks & responsibilities:
Liaising and working with suppliers, subcontractors, construction and estimating teams
Assist with obtaining supplier / subcontractor quotes
Managing workflows from contract signing through building consent and CCC issuance
Collecting information and documents for council sign offs
Reviewing and cross checking various documentation
Providing weekly updates to our clients
Processing of Purchase Orders, Invoices and Payments
Implementation Streamlining and efficiency initiatives of admin processes
Maintaining accurate Quality Assurance, Health And Safety and training records
2+ years experience as an administrator
Construction / building industry experience
Great communication - written and verbal
Very thorough with high attention to detail
Experience with accurate data entry and administration support
Very organised with strong time management skills
Customer service mindset
Work well in a team environment
