My client is a leading interior fit-out company, they are in need of a motivated and experienced Project Manager to work on the access flooring part of projects in Auckland. The position entails both office and site work. With a strong forward workload, this is the ideal time to join a company continuing to grow. This position is paying $80-100k depending on experience. NZ and interiors experience is essential to be considered.
This role is ideally suited to a Project Manager who has the ability to manage delivery whilst co-ordinating bigger picture elements and reporting on project progress. Knowledge and experience of the mechanical and electrical elements of construction is expected, someone with basic structural engineering experience will certainly be suitable for this position. Applications are sought from candidates who can demonstrate highly effective organisational and communication skills and previous career experience in the interiors or ideally access flooring sector.
Candidates will have the following experience:
Proven ability in managing access flooring and fit-out projects, delivering on time and to high quality levels in the NZ market
Experience in liaising with stakeholders and the client in a professional manner
Ability to manage communication and project documentation
Ability to read plans and specifications
Experience in programming work and ordering materials
A strong health and safety focus at all times
