About the role
You will be working closely with a workshop manager, carrying out general labouring requirements. These include, but not limited to;
Assist with stock takes as needed and ensure appropriate stock, equipment and plant are available at all times
Completing paperwork as required
Undertaking tasks to keep the workshop operations running smoothly
Maintain tools and equipment, following all safety and precautionary
Remove Debris, rubbish and dangerous materials
Ensuring workshop area and yard are tidy and organised
Ensure operating consistently with H&S principles
Relevant Skills, Training and Experience:
Good verbal and written skills
Particular attention to detail
Ability to communicate effectively both technically and professionally
Knowledge of Health and Safety
A General understanding of NZ Codes of Practise
Ability to read and understand plans, specifications and job requirements
Ability to complete projects on time and within budget
