Assistant Project Manager
One of the countrys most progressive PM consultancies is now on the hunt for a talented Assistant PM to join their busy Wellington team.
Their expertise covers a range of sectors across the civil infrastructure and construction sectors within the professional project management services sector. With projects covering healthcare builds, education, aviation, commercial and office fit out & infrastructure advisory, they offer great project variety across NZ’s biggest sectors.
They deliver a highly professional service to their clients over a range of project management disciplines including project design and contract management, project controls & scheduling and procurement and construction management.
You will be working across variety of projects in this role and it is important that you possess the following attributes:
- Ideally some experience within the NZ construction or engineering sector
- Excellent report writing and presentation skills
- Excellent client facing skills as you will be representing the client's and your employer's best interests throughout a project's lifespan.
- Awareness of project planning and costing
- Degree qualified (B.E, BConst)
This role will ideally suit an emerging Project Manager or Engineer, looking to expand their career and move into full project lifecycle involvement from planning & consenting to design review and project management.
You will be guaranteed plenty of chances to further your Project Management career within this company with excellent internal and external PMI training and as well as the opportunity to work on nationally significant projects across the lower North Island.
