The Position
You will oversee and coordinate all design activities on major commercial projects, acting as the vital link between clients, consultants, and construction teams. Key duties include design management, stakeholder liaison, documentation and compliance, risk mitigation, tender support, programming and budget oversight, value management, and leading design teams to achieve successful project outcomes.
Skills and Experience Required
- Minimum of 4 years’ design management experience gained at commercial construction contractors
- Tertiary qualification in Architecture, Construction Management, or Engineering.
- Skilled in design coordination, stakeholder management, and technical compliance.
- Strong understanding of architectural and structural principles.
- Leadership ability and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with construction project management tools.
