About the role
Part of a small team, you will work with sites and site-management influencing safe workstyles and injury prevention from this workforce of civil construction professionals, doing outstanding construction in high-hazard environments.
You will:
- Assist with the ongoing advance of health and safety policy and documentation
- Influence, more than ‘police’, safe behaviors so they happen even when nobody’s looking
- Help to develop health and safety strategic plans and oversee their implementation
- Respond when things have gone wrong, with speed, professionalism and a what can we learn approach
- Reporting to the HSEQ Manager
About you
- You have already proven yourself within the health and safety industry with two or more years of experience in Civil Construction
- You have experience in health and safety around heavy mobile plant
- You are a natural leader, getting results from your team by having them on your side
- You have a history of proven health and safety statistical improvement
- You are an exceptional communicator and influencer, who also can crack the whip where necessary
