A well-established traffic management provider is seeking an experienced and motivated TTM Operations Manager to support the delivery of temporary traffic management services across the Taranaki region.

The Opportunity;
You’ll oversee the day-to-day running of TTM operations, managing crew supervisors, a branch administrator, and field teams. Working closely with the Branch Manager — who leads client engagement and BD— you’ll focus on planning, training, safety, and operational performance, ensuring crews are well-supported, schedules are met, and projects run seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities;
- Lead, support, and develop crew supervisors and field staff.
- Plan and coordinate operational delivery including scheduling, resource allocation, and adherence to TTM methodologies and design plans.
- Promote and uphold health, safety, and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with Project Managers and internal teams.
- Monitor costings and profitability across projects, ensuring effective use of labour, plant, and materials.
- Participate in an on-call roster and weekend work when needed — responding proactively to reactive operational demands.
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for a confident and capable leader with a balance of technical expertise, industry insight, and people skills. Technical and Industry Skills:
- Proven operational management experience, ideally within temporary traffic management, civil, or infrastructure environments.
- Sound understanding of TTM practices, standards, and methodologies.
- Strong planning, scheduling, and organisational skills, with business acumen and an eye for financial performance.
- Experience interpreting TTM plans, working within policies and compliance frameworks.
