The Position
As a Project Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the planning, execution, and completion of residential construction projects. Your responsibilities will include coordinating schedules, managing resources, tracking budgets, facilitating communication across teams, and ensuring projects adhere to timelines and quality standards.
Skills and Experience Required
- Strong communication skills in English and Mandarin
- Background in Quantity Surveying, Architecture, or Construction Management
- Familiarity with NZS3910 and New Zealand building codes
- Excellent document management and organizational skills
- Proven ability to liaise with clients and resolve issues during subdivision phases
- Solid understanding of construction methodology and subdivision procedures (RC decision to 223, 224 certification, EAC)
- Experience in collecting compliance certificates (CCC/EACC) and monitoring subdivision processes
- Skilled in coordinating with consultants, councils, and utility providers
- Knowledge of construction materials
