Our client is delivering a landmark geothermal power station near Taupō, a complex, high-value project setting new standards in safety, quality, and sustainability. You’ll be joining a collaborative delivery team backed by one of the most respected names in the energy sector.
About the Role
As Quality Assurance Lead, you’ll drive the site QA program from installation through to commissioning readiness.
You’ll oversee subcontractor quality performance, ensure compliance with ITPs, manage QA documentation, and provide clear reporting to the Project Manager and wider leadership team.
This role suits someone who enjoys being at the coalface of major construction, ensuring every system, weld, and cable meets the standard before handover to commissioning.
What You’ll Bring

Trade or engineering qualifications in mechanical, electrical, or similar discipline

QA experience on large industrial, infrastructure, or energy projects

Confident managing QA plans, ITPs, and documentation across multiple contractors

Strong practical understanding of construction and commissioning processes
