A well-regarded consultancy with offices across the North Island is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer with stormwater, or flood modelling, or three waters experience to join their growing team in Tauranga. The role
Successful candidates will contribute to a diverse range of stormwater projects, helping shape the future of local communities. From network design and modelling through to water-sensitive urban design and flood risk management, the work offers both technical challenge and the chance to see tangible results on the ground.
Responsibilities include
- Designing and delivering stormwater solutions across subdivisions, infrastructure, and urban developments.
- Collaborating with councils, developers, and contractors to achieve sustainable outcomes.
- Supporting or leading projects end-to-end, from feasibility and consenting to construction support.
- Mentoring junior engineers (for senior-level roles) or developing under the guidance of experienced colleagues (for intermediate roles).
What’s required
- A degree in Civil Engineering, ideally with experience in stormwater or three waters engineering or flood modelling.
- Strong technical design skills, ideally with Civil 3D (or similar) software.
- Proven ability to manage projects and the drive to step up into greater responsibility.
- A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills.
- CPEng registration is beneficial but not essential.
