Role:
You are responsible for the management of the overall direction, co-ordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects to ensure the long-term success and profitability of their business. This client self performs up to 70% of the work across multiple disciplines from Three Waters, Energy Utilities and Seismic Strengthening.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee the delivery of projects by leading the project team and subcontractors
 - Manage and direct contract administration, understanding contractual requirements and expectations
 - Documentation, scheduling, and progress reporting
 - Full cost management including budgeting, cost control and forecasting
 - Stakeholder engagement and working closely with the client
 - Implement effective risk management strategies and ensure all safety, environment and quality processes are followed up for the job
 
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager with a minimum of 15 + years relevant experience in the NZ Civil Construction industry
 - Bachelor or Engineering qualification required
 - Project experience managing projects over $30M
 - Experience managing teams and sub-contractors with strong leadership skills
 - Proficient in project management software
