Are you looking to move over to the Mines in Australia? We have multiple positions available now for experienced Welders or Boiler Makers to relocate to a mining town in Queensland, Australia. The Mt Isa Mine is a very well-established underground mine which produces lead, silver, copper and zinc.
Responsibilities include fabricating, assembling, and installing boilers, pressure vessels, and tanks. You'll read blueprints, use hand tools and welding equipment, and ensure all work meets safety standards. The project is based on the site of an active mine therefore an advanced knowledge of Health and Safety protocols is preferred. The ideal candidate has proven experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
No previous mining experience is necessary but is a great advantage!
